I’m not sure I have ever walked as slowly as I did last Thursday night. Thanks to Thom for his expert door opening skills. Finally fired my piece. Just to bisque, though. We’ll see where it goes from here.
I had a interesting talk with Kathy Butterly last week. For those of you just joining us, she’s a painter who works in ceramics. She had some good things to say and some interesting points about my work. Also gave me a good list of people to research. One thing that she said that’s sticking in my brain is that if I think I should do something, then do it. Sometimes you just need that reminder from someone a little bit more knowledgeable than yourself.
